Description: Oak display case with adjustable glass shelves, once used in Mrs. Tracy's Shop, Northeast Harbor, and later used in Mrs. Pervear's Shop, Northeast Harbor. Before being donated to the museum it was used in Pine Bough Antiques, Northeast Harbor. Mirror-paneled doors on the backside open, providing access to the interior space. Three draws are accessible from the back.
Description: Engine Order Telegraph Receiver, likely from an engine room, mounted on a mahogany plaque. The receiver is polished brass, and glass covers a painted face. The face appears to have been repainted, and some of this paint has faded. The face is labeled Pierrot, but research has yielded no information about this company.
Description: Framed and mounted photograph of Bunker & Ellis lobster yacht, Rambler. Rambler was the third boat built by Bunker & Ellis for Thomas Reath of Philadelphia and Northeast Harbor, and was launched in 1957. The boat is seen passing a bell bouy painted with the number 15. This image is temporary.
Description: Glass negative taken at Mount Desert Rock, August 1907. View shows side of the boathouse, looking southeast. A weathervane is visible on top of the boathouse, and an exhaust pipe for the steam engine that hauled boats. A walkway extends to the right, and another building is visible near the right edge of the negative. In the distance the ocean may be seen with a vessel near the horizon line. Description: Half model of a sloop, perhaps a Luders 16, with a Genoa jib, made by Robert L. Smallidge Sr. of Northeast Harbor. Model's hull is varnished, and uses various wood types for topsides, waterline, and bottom, while the sails are painted white. The model and sails are mounted on a pine board. On the back of the model is #6, R.L. Smallidge, N.E. Harbor, Me.
Description: Hand painted sign reading SEA FOOD. Sign is painted on Masonite (or a similar product) and has a white background and black letters. The front of the sign is scratched and shows signs of age. The sign came from Stanley's Fish Market, Northeast Harbor, operated by David L. Stanley.
